I was really quite honored to learn that my oil painting of a partly submerged alligator titled "What Lies Beneath" received the most votes earning it the People's Choice Award at Art Central Gallery's 12th Anniversary Reception! It shocked me to learn that such a non-traditional subject would appeal to so many people. I guess you just never know!!! Thanks for all the votes!!!

Your painting is absolutely breathtakine. I think that's why it captured so many people's attention. An alligator? One would think - but you make the subject matter so alive and beautiful. Love the title too.
