Resplendant Iris

This is a painting that I started during a workshop teaching floral painting. I don't usually paint flowers even though I am an avid gardener. I chose to paint this much larger than life size(the canvas is about 40"x 30"). I really enjoyed the larger than life format. This painting is available at Art Central. Thank you for visiting!
