Art Central Gallery in Summerville S.C. celebrated our 11th anniversary with a Gala celebration on October 15th. We had live music by Steve Jacobs and scrumptious catering from April Agren. We also had a People's Choice Award for the piece of Art that received the most votes. I was happy to find out that my oil painting "Auspice" won. The title "Auspice" means an omen from a bird. I thought this was a fitting title for this painting. I loved the composition and contrast of the black bird against the white draped fabric. This painting is an 18"x 36" oil on canvas.
