On February 3rd the Summerville Artist Guild held it's 34th Annual Juried Show. I entered two paintings into the show, "Fierce Tiger" and "Nature's Lace". The tiger painting's title comes from watching America's Next Top Model (I have two teenage daughters). On the show, Tyra Banks always comments on photos being fierce and tells the models to elongate their necks. My tiger was laying in the grass and seemed to strike a pose that brought the show to mind. I was happy that it was chosen Best in Show, especially with the many talented members that are professional artists as well. My entry titled Nature's Lace, a small painting of a spider web covered in early morning dew also won a honorable mention. Both paintings are oil on canvas.

I just wanted to say that your art is amazing! I thougth some of them were actual photographs. Sometimes I even had to find your named signed at the bottom to make sure it wasn't! Thank you for sharing such a wonderful talent!
